No. Stellara names are symbolic and commemorative. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is the only body that can officially name stars. You still get a dedication, a shareable page, and a PDF certificate.
Either. Start at /gift and we’ll pick a visible unnamed star. Want a specific one? Use /browse. Gifts can include a dedication and an optional reveal email.
Your star is held for 30 minutes while you pay. If checkout expires or you cancel, the hold lifts and the star is available again.
You (the buyer) get the receipt. If it’s a gift, we email the recipient the reveal only if you choose “Email them the reveal now.” Otherwise, share the link yourself.
After payment confirms, download the PDF from your star’s page (QR included). Digital only for now — no printed kits yet.
